We would like to thank all those involved in our very first wine & cheese tasting on Thursday, March 18. It was a great success and we had wonderful feedback from those that attended.

This event has generated much interest and enthusiasm, we have decided to bring our customers more in store events and customer participaction.

That being said . . . for future tastings you can check in store for announcements, check the calendar above for upcoming events or sign up for our newsletter.

Thanks again for making VIVA L'ITALIA a success.

For 3 weekends in January all proceeds from our bread sales went ot help the earthquake victims in Haiti. We are please to announce that we raised $ 2300.00 (with the government matching our totals) through the gererousity of our loyal customers. All proceeds were donated to World Vision Canada for the Haiti Relief Fund.

Thank you

On Saturady, September 19-2009, we had our annual Loaves of Love campaign and with the generosity of our customers & people walking by on the street, we had a record year!! 100% of the proceeds went to help The BC Children's Hospital Foundation. Thanks again for putting smiles where they belong!!

BC Children's Hospital is the province's only full-service acute care hospital and serves the one million children living in BC and the Yukon. All children who are seriously ill or injured are referred to Children's Hospital and are either treated at the hospital facility in Vancouver or, with consultation from Children's specialists, in their home community. Last year, more than 75,000 children were treated at Children's Hospital. BC Children's Hospital Foundation received donations from more than 82,000 people last year and had revenues of over $54.4 million.

This event helps support urgent needs including new equipment, clinical care, research, and educational programs. Today the need is greater than ever. Plans are underway to build a new Children's Hospital on the current site. This hospital will be a state-of-the-art facility that will help BC's children and their families well into the future. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to help future generations.

We are pleased to introduce the "new packaging" on our already perfected Parmesan Crisps, Bacio Crisps and our delicious Harvest Granola. Same great products . . . same great taste, with tastefully designed packaging that will be recognizable in the retailers that stock our product.

We have also introduced a new line to our selection of crisps. The "Granary Crisps", made with all the delicious goodness of granary flour which we import from England for this product as well as our newly introduced healthy malt style bread, the Granary Loaf & Baguette.
